Misthos

Guide for contributors

Join a program, submit work, and get paid in USDC.

Join

Open the program's join link (it looks like /join/program-name).

  1. Sign in with X. Misthos reads your X id, handle and account age, then immediately revokes its access. It never posts or reads your messages.
  2. Link your payout wallet. Connect the wallet you want to be paid to and sign a message. The signature proves the wallet is yours; it costs nothing and moves no funds.

Joining a program

Submit work

Paste a link to work you did during the current round:

  • a post or thread on X, from your own account
  • a GitHub pull request or commit you authored (connect GitHub on your dashboard first: you sign in to GitHub once, and Misthos only reads your account id and username)
  • an article that mentions or links your X handle (so the agent can confirm it's yours)

The agent usually decides within a minute. You'll see the decision, the amount, and the reason.

A contributor's submissions and decisions

What gets rejected

  • Work by someone else, or a repost of it.
  • Work from before or after the round.
  • The same link twice, or text copied from another submission.
  • A pull request that isn't merged, when the program pays only for merged work.
  • Content that tries to instruct the grader. This always goes to a person.

Some things don't reject but send your submission to the program owner: a brand-new account, unusual engagement, an article that doesn't mention you, a recently changed wallet. The owner sees the agent's reasons and decides.

Getting paid

At the end of each round, approved work is paid in USDC on Arc to your linked wallet, in one transaction per contributor. If you change your wallet, the program's cooldown applies before the new one can be paid. That protects you if someone takes over your X account.

Every payout is public, with its transaction and the decision records behind it.
